Relighting the Sun
Michigan Church Supply refinished this beautiful monstrance in 24k gold plating. It had problems including a broken sunburst ray on the right side which we had custom manufactured to restore the original condition of the monstrance.
French Heritage
This refinishing of an antique French monstrance entailed the removal and cleaning of four rubies and six original colored enamel pieces. Then we repaired the base of the monstrance to ensure the monstrance was level once again. The monstrance was finally finished off with a custom fitted enclosed Luna to complete the piece.
Restoring a Detroit Masterpiece
This restoration was for a monstrance from Detroit that had seen regular use for many years. We did a full cleaning, disassembly, and replating for the metal parts of the monstrance, cleaned all of the inset stones, retouched the insets of the four evangelists, and added a new American made custom fit Luna.

The inserts of the Four Evangelists were the centerpiece of this monstrance. We made sure to take good care of them by cleaning them and then having one of our master sculptors retouch and polish each insert to restore their clarity, color, and definition.
The back plates on the monstrance were worn and missing multiple screws, but that didn't slow us down! We carefully removed all four of the back plates, replated them in gold, and had new screws custom made to restore the monstrance to its original condition.
